Arsonists have lit three fires on the bund next to The Sycamores recreation ground this week - Tuesday afternoon, yesterday evening, and today at around midday. The fire brigade have attended each time.

The undergrowth has been damaged by each fire and today a fire was lit on the slide in the play area next to the bund. A crushed aerosol (deodorant) was found in the play area and might have been used in the arson.

Damping down the land by the slide afterwards

Three young boys aged 10 or less were seen near the play area at around the same time the last fire was set. If you know who they are please get in touch with the police (on 358966 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111) as they may have information which will help the police track down who is setting these fires before anyone gets hurt.
