SCDC are in the middle of delivering the latest consignment of black bin bags around the village. Some villagers have apparently complained that they had run out. When asked about this SCDC said that they are now only issuing 60 sacks a year, in two deliveries at around 6 monthly intervals. The reason for this reduction is that the green box scheme is designed to encourage us all to recycle, thus we should need less black bags.
